andrew just showed me this film and it made me SO happy. I love it. I want to spend the rest of my life travelling and making films. I am going to try and make something with the footage I took in holland.
I give it six months before an advertising agency rips this off. Great video though.
Cool stuff
I could do with a bit of this right now!
The Little Meadow Mill by Ben
As temperatures plunge across Europe, many are cursing the cold. But not in the Netherlands. There, many are hoping for further frigid conditions. It was my first time on skates again in this early winter of 2009. The sunset gave a beautiful glow. Look at the thousands of geese flying in the background. At this time of year they are easy to find in Waterland.

How this brings back memories!
coming up for air
This may be my seventh start to this little post, if I’ve counted correctly. Having not written for some time, I think I may need to get back into the swing of things again. Forgive my fumbling attempt at ‘swinging things’ for now…
I’m just having a little ‘regroup’ moment after what feels like a frantic day. In an attempt to out smart the weather I will leave my little flat this evening, head on into the coach station to spend the night on a chair before boarding a coach at 5am. A little bit earlier than originally planned. All in an effort to get to the airport on time for my afternoon flight tomorrow. Remind me why I tend to list ‘traveling’ as one of my interets?
Jokes aside, this is pretty much the time I’ve been working towards for, well, lets say quite a while. Going away, and leaving behind, to some extent, the stresses and pressures that have been everyday life these last four months or so is going to be lovely. ‘Bliss’ pretty much covers it.
I’m also pretty excited to see my family again. It’s been too long! However, with all of us living in 4 different countries at the moment it does look like we might have to get used to it… It’ll be good to have time to catch up with each other, relax and most definitely venture out for some cross country skiing, or attempts to do so.
First up though, I’ve got to get my act together (and my stuff) for what will be at least a 24 hour journey. I do love traveling. I do love traveling. I do love traveling. I do….

The London Transport Museum, which hosts one of the world’s most important collections of graphic art, asked illustrators to draw the links between cycling in the capital, environment issues, health and fun. Fifty of the 1,000-plus entries are now on display at the museum, in London’s Covent Garden, until 22 August
A few pics from our family Christmas holiday in Norway.
